The “Two Tents” Problem
In many corporate environments, we observe a persistent pattern: individual contributors are treated as if they only need to receive feedback, while managers are treated as if they only need to give it. These two camps act like isolated tents in the wilderness, unable to share vital resources despite the fact that they are operating within the same feedback ecosystem.
